Using image / image button with CSS

 Hi, what im trying to do is, i have a image button, and im trying to put it on a page, but i woul still like to wrie over it, just as you would do in CSS, where you link the image in the CSS files, and are able to write something on it, Thats what i would like to do, but with a asp image, i saw a site using it on classic asp, is this possible to do in asp.net?
