Good morning everyone,
The problem i am facing involves a website that is written in asp and asp.net. The original website is written in classic asp. I added an asp.net forum to the website in a sub directory called "/forum" which is in asp.net.
What i want to do now is only allow access to the /forum/default.aspx page if the user has signed into the main website(which is in asp classic). If I were to do it in Classic ASP it'd be a line of code on default.asp that says: "if session account authenticated <> yes then response.redirect to /forum-signup.asp of the root".
The problem i face: can i access the session account authenticated asp classic variable in asp.net somehow when the user navigates from the asp classic website to the asp.net forum? or in other words, is there a way for me to check if the user has authenticated on the asp classic website when they navigate ...
