I have a very simple perl script in my ASP.NET website. Also I have installed strawberry perl on the server.
This script should run when a user clicks on a button. But when I observed the CPU usage on the server, the perl script is using 80% of the memory. Also for one click from the user it produces several .cgi logs a minute. This causes the website to slow down rapidly and at one particular time it takes several minutes to open a page.
I am not sure where I am going wrong from the server perspective as I am new to this. Please do help me in this.
