in my windows server2003 i am using , i have already default instance SQLSERVER2008(app1) is there..
now i am ionstalling SQLSERVER2008R2 as Named instance in this same system..
i installed sucussfuly after tht , SQLSERVER2008R2(app2) , i am trying to logon windows authentication mode...Here i got prblm , i am not able logon sqlserver2008R@(app2) server simply its not showing any error megs also tht time .. i tried so
many times , but its not logged on sqlserver2008 R2(app2) server..
Now i tried using SQLSERVER2008( app1) server through windows authenticate mode .. i logged sucesfuly...
My questions are?
!. why i am not able to logon my named instance server called SQLSERVER2008R2 (app2) server?
