Hi. Using MS Visual Web Developer 2008 I have developed an intranet site. Web pages have .aspx extension (site code VB). I have noted initially it takes some time for each page to render once requested (simple html, php pages load in an instant) .

Can anyone offer any insight into what might be the cause and advise a solution to speeding things up as I will get nailed come 'Go Live' if performance does not improve.

Each page is in its own directory under route, no more than 3 pages per directory (rare), usually only 1 + config file.

I read this article http://www.aspnetresources.com/articles/debug_code_in_production.aspx

I would value any advice.

Many Thanks,

Phil
