I apologise if this has been asked before but I have just spent 30 minutes TOTALLY bemused surfing all the possible Windows forums but it is all SO complicated (at least for a 76 year old!). I am trying to regain some memeory space on my hard drive and I have noticed that I have 150 "Uninstall" files on the root of my Windows folder. They seem to vary from 3/4 of a Mb to 10Mb or over. Can anyone tell me if these subfolders are essential or have they done their tasks and can now be deleted?
