enablessl in web.config (flexibilty is a must)

Hi,
I have this a page that send email. right now were using gmail so i created a settings in web.config. gmail needs to enable the ssl... how to enable it in web.config...
i need this because, i don't want to recompile my application... flexibility is a must...
