I have problems using RequiredFieldValidator with DropDownList here is the relevant code:
<asp:DropDownList ID="DropDownList2" runat="server" Width="120px"
OnSelectedIndexChanged="DropDownList2_SelectedIndexChanged"
AppendDataBoundItems="True" AutoPostBack="False" ValidationGroup="Supplier" CausesValidation="True">
<asp:ListItem Selected="True" Text="Select?" ></asp:ListItem>
</asp:DropDownList>
The others DropDownList?s Items are added at runtime (retrieving from the DB)
<asp:ValidationSummary ID="ValidationSummary2" runat="server" headertext="Error:? ValidationGroup="Supplier" />
