I plan to issue a mail shot from my ASP.NET 3.5 website to around 2000 people using a recently acquired mailing list. If for the sake of argument, 10% of the recipients were to ask me to remove their name from the list then I would have to cope with 200 emails and database changes. I would much prefer to avoid such pain by including an 'unsubscribe' link in my emails and having the necessary changes made automatically.
Since time is short, I would be grateful for any guidance on how best to implement an unsubscribe facility.
