I would like the user to be able to select any directory on their local system ... my question is ..Is there a Directory Navigation control in ASP.net? ....... I would like something similar to the functionality offered by the fileupload (i.e. a screen that allows the user navigate through the directories on the system). .... I suppose I could build a treeview and build the directories up using the File and Directory classes but this would require posting back to Server and would only be a poor imitation of Screen that is brough up when you do a file upload.
Is it possible to override the file upload so that it allows you to navigate through the directories but does not require the user to Upload a file
