I have one web service that is accessible to multiple clients. I have one scenario that I need to develop.
Web service has a method GetData(); that returns thousand of records.
Now If two Client access the web service and displaying data(response of web service) on their end as same time. Client1 deleted 800 records of thousand. At same moment Client2 also trying to delete 800 records, that is not possible, because there is no
enough records now. So Client2 may get error or transaction failed. My question is how to implement it in a way that two request for same recods does not occur. One more thing we dont have database access, so in database we can do anything like Lock etc..
I am looking for solution in web service only.
Please share your ideas that would be helpful to me.
