I have a simple vb.net form that gathers data and uploads a file. After the file is uploaded, I need to copy it into another directory on the same server. (yes, I need two copies..it's a long story). The file upload works fine, but when I try to copy the file to the other directory I keep getting an access denied error. What "service" or "user" do I need to give rights too, and what rights do they need? Since the directories are on the same server, this error is surprising/confusing me. Also, the ldestination directory is in a separate Website in IIS. Is that the problem? Grasping at straws here, cause I just don't know what to try.
