I'm having some issues using forms authentication in ASP.NET.
I have an application created using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express. I am using a SQL Server 2005 Express database. I am using Abyss Web Server XI, which is fully ASP.NET 3.5 compatible. Everything is running on my PC. All connections in web.config and machine.config are set to use localhost.
I have a login page, and then display the logged in user on each page along with a logout link. I also use the user name in various queries throughout the application to provide personalised data.
