I have a website where i've used the asp.net configuration web app to set up security. The config app creates the db in the app_data folder and is able to work with it, creating user accounts and everything. However, the web application that I'm working on is not able to use any of the Membership functionalities. The login controls don't work... Membership.ValidateUser does not work. In a new test website project in, all this works, but I can't figure out why it's not working with the website project I'm working with.
