I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terminology, so please bear with me (still pretty new to ASCX files, ASP.NET and XSLT stylesheets).
On my homepage I have a feed being republished as HTML (under the Front Page News image). How I'm doing this is by calling an ASCX file within my ASPX page. Unfortunately, this file hangs on occasion (usually only in IE, but has hung up in Firefox when we had a post in the RSS feed go viral), so I was hoping that someone in the community here would be able to help me identify what's causing this and possible wasy of optimizing this:
