Hello,

i've a ASPX-Page which reads ascii-files from a server as memorystream and writes the memorystream to the response-object. I need the memorystream because of security rules on the server.

The problem now is that in the browser the ascii-files have no carriage-return. When i make "show sourcecode of the page" (? - don't know the correct item in IE-Menue in english version) i see the ascii-text as it should be (with carriage-return).

I've tried different contenttypes, charsets and so one - but nothing works correctly
Dim msAscii As MemoryStream = SecurityFileRead(FileToCopy)  'SecurityFileRead reads the File from the server and returns a memorystream
Response.Clear()

' Response.AddHeader("Accept-Header", msAscii.Leng ...

Go to the complete details ...
