From Date and To Date

In my application i have two textboxes. One for From date and the other one for To date.
I need to check whether the From date is lesser than To Date..Date formats will be either
(DD-MM-YYYY) or (DD/MM/YYYY).and i have used calendar extender for selecting date

I need the script code to do this...
Thanks in advance ...
