I am currently developing an application where the main users will not have active directory accounts at the point of time of using the system, however the admin staff will.
I am wondering if it is possible or what I should do to allow standard users to login via form passed password/username form with an ado.net entity provider and for the script to know when a person is login in with a AD account.
Can anyone help with suggesting away of determining which user is which, would I need two different login screens? or just a piece of code which determines via the username.
I would obviously store the AD account username for each of the admin that I want to have access to the system could I just store this in the system and have a tickbox which says validate via AD (obviously custom membership provider required) as I would obviously need the name their for primary key when adding rows to datatables.
Any suggestions and examp ...
