Hi, I am developing an Intranet .Net Website using Windows Authentication.
But I have to provide a Login Page where user needs to enter his Windows UserName and Password and Group Name. I display by default by getting it from using Environment.UserName and Environment.UserDomainName.
Now user enters his Windows UserName and password and trires to log in. But I have a specific Windows Group in Active Directory and I need to check if this user has been assigned to this Group, then only I need to allow to go furthur. But somehow I am always getting False while checking User.IsInRole.
Herewith I am providing my Web.config and code to check user role. Basically I just need to check that logged in user should be member of this Active Directory Group. Can someone please tell me is there anything wrong in my configuration or any ...
