SQL 2005 Express is old, I know. But at present I am stuck with it due to applications. We are in the process of converting an Access DB into an SQL DB but when we try to do this we recevied an error "Failed to open the Master database on destination SQLServer".
I have verified all the usernames and passwords used for the conversion and the server name and that the correct user has owner rights on the relevant DB.
Is there anything that i can run to verify the integrity of the Master database and that it is functioning correctly?
