I'm stumped on this issue. I took an exact copy of a asp.net 2 web app I've been working on my desktop in Vista/IE7 where everything works perfect.
After I loaded it on my laptop Win XP Pro/IE7, the built in forms authentication auto-redirect stopped working.
When I attempt to get to get to the login page by clicking on a asp:loginview control, the current page I'm on refreshes but now it's just a blank white page with nothing displayed at all.
If I enter the login.aspx file into the browser, I get to the login page and can successfully login. On the Welcome back screen, when I click continue where i should get redirected to the returnUrl string, instead the login page refreshes and everything is blank white.
Same thing with register.aspx. I can register, but after I successfully register and click continue, I get redirected to register.aspx and everything is blank white.
