I have a very basic ASP.NET 2.0 application that has a complex requirement. This application has a back and a forward button in the application for the sake of navigation. These buttons will be responsible for loading different views of the same page. The application can not use JavaScript (security requirement), can not use the Session variable (session state has been turned off), and can not use cookies (security requirement). In addition, the application must be able to handle the browser's back and forward buttons appropriately. Here is the basic code of my ASP.NET page (we'll call it Page.aspx):
