I have a web application product , that works differntly for each customer, some might integrate using sqlservermembership provider and some might use Active Directory.
With SQL Membership provider i absolutely have no problem , problem comes on how to deal a little on Active Directory Integration.
Each user is tied to facility , and when you create a user you tie the facility , to which it shows what access does the user have and the reports and dashboards for the data based on is displayed.
My confusion comes when i need to handle Active directory user , how should i go about tying it to a facility and is it possible that i can use the same the users page to even recognize the user is Active Directory.
I am kind of little lost in thought, may be some experts opinion might be helpful. Please advise
