I just got an email from a potential employer who wants me to build him a simple example using a "n-layer object model" for inserting, editing, and deleting data. I would just drop a GridView and FormView onto a page to make manipulating data possible, but I'm not sure if a web form alone would qualify as a "n-layer object model".
I've been programming in .Net for awhile, but always for individual websites run by one person and never anything designed to be used by a group of admins beyond just sharing a login or assigning users to an admin role. What basic requirements must be meant for a model to be considered n-layer?
