Exception Occured : Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {...} failed due to the following error: 80070005.

Hello!
I have been developing a web application in VB.NET which uses a DLL that is written in VB6.
Everything has been working smoothly until today when I successfully installed an updated version of the DLL onto the web server.

Now I'm encountering an exception with the following error message when my web application tries to access the DLL:
"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {<guid>} failed due to the following error: 80070005. "
After doing some research on the issue, I have a feeling that it has to do with the permissions not being set up properly to allow my ASPNET account access to this resource.
How would I go about granting the ASPNET account access to this resource?
If it isn't permissions that is the problem, what is the problem and how do I fix it?
