Condensing output HTML

Hello!

I have a page in an application that generates a massive amount of HTML (page size alone is 3mb+), this isn't really an issue due to it being an application on a LAN; however, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a built in method in the framework that would condense this HTML, removing whitespace/etc?  I know the AJAX framework will do this to send its main script, but I wasn't sure if it was possible to do this for regular pages.
