I'm writing a login for myself where I want to do a client side encryption of the password with a salt. Therefore I use a javascript function.
This function encrypts the passwords, then adds a salt to the password and then both the encrypted password and salt are encrypted as a Response.
Then the function clear's the password field and (hidden) salt field and put the Response in another hidden field. This all works just fine, and does exactly what I want.
Then I want to use the forms authentication used in the web.config file. I added the code, needed for that, and it doesn't work anymore. This javascript function is "createResponse" doesn't work anymore and in that case everyone is not logged in.
when I put the the subsequent code in the web.config file this function doesn't work no more.
Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks a lot!
