Which module to use to read web page info?

Hi,


I think there must be some .NET module that I can utilize to get the information on a webpage, with user name and password passed in, through https protocol.
For example, we want to read the content of the table presented in a page programingly. I have .Net 3.5 framework.


There's a module in Perl called WWW::Mechanize does the job, and I think there should be some components in ASP that can do the same job.
