I am probably asking a very simple question but I am unable to find the answer through search. When using web services as the data source for all the wonderful extenders that are provided by the toolkit how do I go about securing the service? Typically we just add a service to an existing web application, but that service can be referenced from outside the application which seems like a big problem to me. Please enlighten me.
