Event Viewer Logging for Web Application

I have an asp.net web application that logs many, many events to the Event Viewer in a custom log.  The logging is by...
System.Diagnostics.EventLog.WriteEntry("CustomEventLog", "Message");
Do I have to worry about thread safety since the application is a web application and there are many, many instances making the same call at the same time?
