Hey folks,
I kinda need some advice on how to approach a problem. Here's the case: Ive got a page with a button in it that opens a Mootools squeezebox (its Javascript, kinda like litebox). The squeezebox contains another .aspx page with a form in it. So the user clicks the button, the squeezebox appears on top of the original page and shows the form, all fine and dandy so far.
Now what i want is to be able to submit the form without triggering a postback, because that would refresh the page and make the squeezebox dissapear. I've found a way to do this using javascript and a POST action to another .aspx file, this will only work however if the form runat attribute is not set to server. The form contains dropdownlists and such though that are populated with data, which requires the form runat attribute to be set to server.
So i guess i'm a little stuck with this approach, is there a solution or a better way to approach ...
