I want to be able to select a user to lock them out of the program.
Maybe I have read it wrong, but it says that you can't lock a user out due to something about read only...
if this is true, why does this tutorial include a check box to show if a user is locked out and a button to unlock users, if you can't lock them in the first place?.....

could someone pleaser tell me how I would go about locking users out,
or am i right in thinking that locked out means, ... say a user has attempted to login numerous times , then they become locked out?
if so, is there a setting in web config to set this?
