Hey Everybody,
It would be quite ambitious but I want to develop a demo website similiar to features in www.bbc.co.uk which is a very popular site.
Please let me know whether we can do it using web2.0 features provided by .net 3.5 like webparts and personalisation.
I tried to create a .Net webpart based website but the look and feel of module(small block of html which opens up) which enables user to add more webparts to the page and edit option of the webparts(comes on top of webpart) are not similar to what i could achieve using .Net provided controls.
Is it achievable using .Net or should I think of Java portlets for this.
Also if somebody has idea of technology behind BBC website, kindly let me know.
