I am designing a website which has "friends" as one of the section, I have created a login form using asp controls. I want to use forms authentication to authenticate the user but the problem is when I use forms authentication the startup page changes to friends which is the page that contain login forms alternatively start up page should be home or default.aspx. second, when using forms authentication the user is not redirected to the page after authentication is performed.
