Hey everyone,
To start, I am not very SQL Savvy, but I was able to create an automated install for our Dell Kace 1000 Appliance, which installs SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1. The following command-line was used:
"sqlexpr32_x86_enu.exe" /QS /ACTION=Install /FEATURES=SQL,SDK /INSTANCENAME=MSSQLSERVER /SQLSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\Network Service" /SQLSYSADMINACCOUNTS="Users" /AGTSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\Network Service" /skiprules=RebootRequiredCheck

Would it be possible to perform a silent in-place upgrade to SQL Server 2008 R2? If so, could the following arguments be added?
/TCPENABLED="1"
/NPENABLED="1"
/BROWSERSVCSTARTUPTYPE="Automatic" Go to the complete details ...
