Hello,
I still have a couple of difficulties to understand the ASP.Net page lifecycle.
Here is the situation : I have a TreeView linked to XML. When you click a node, informations are displayed about it, including informations on its child nodes whose number vary.
Those informations are being displayed in textboxes, so users are able to modify them and save them in the original XML file. But they can also add some more textboxes to add new child nodes.
My problem is, informations put in the textboxes by user are saved between PostBacks only if I recreate them on Page_Load.
But! Both the TreeView_SelectedNodeChanged and the AddButton_Click events are treated after the Page_Load, so there is a delay between those operations and the actual display of the TextBoxes.
I tried to create the TextBoxes in Page_PreRender, and there they appear normally, but informations are not saved between PostBacks.
So what is the proper way to create those TextBox ...
