I have aspnet_Applications table (the one which gets created by aspnet_regsql tool) in my database.
Now as my database is configured for only one application, there is only one record in aspnet_Application table. And that record has ApplicationName as "/".
There doesn't seem any problem if a database is hosted only for single application. but on production web server scenario may be different. There may be multiple applications accessing same database. So in this case what will be ApplicationName ??
And also please tell me, how can i get the application name which is being passed in build-in security methods. I mean, there is a parameter in a method called "Roles.GetAllRoles" for ApplicationName. What must be getting passed over here ? Will it be application name or just a "/" ?
I am not able to check this as debugger is not working at my workstation due to some problem in setup.
