Mebership API adding a user doesn't update UsersInRole

 I have the following statement
Roles.AddUserToRole(UsernameTextbox.Text, RoleListBox.SelectedValue);
 Which adds the user, but doesn't add the userid to the UsersInRole table.  I need this to display the user and role in an admin page.  Thanks
