So I have a page with multiple user controls and probably a total of 30 different dropdownlists (huge form to create/edit mortgage) on the page. I have identified which dropdownlist has "2" items select. (in quotes b/c it is not true) Anyways the only place I set the selected item I use ddlARMIndexs.SelectedValue = "8", which will only select one item. When I step through the code, when it is set, only on item is selected. Then when I press play, and the error comes and it says the same dropdown has multiple items selected. I'm lost on what to do. I've seen this weird behavior before and has been fixed by changing the order of setting the selectedvalue of different dropdownlists... I know strange. When I comment out the line ddlARMIndexs.SelectedValue = "8". The page loads... Anyone know what is going on??
