I have a web application and am very familiar with the absence of the of the ProfileCommon object.  I have created my own web profile object with several custom properties that are filled from an existing DB in a custom profile provider by overriding GetPropertyValues().  Everything has been working great.

I now have a new requirement for a property that doesn't exist in the current DB and so my first thought was to put it into the profile properties.  I have added the new property to my custom profile object and have been successful getting the property saved and I can see it in the aspnet_Profile table.  However, when my profile provider is filling the other properties this new one isn't getting filled.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have done this, so could someone tell me how to manually get a property filled from the aspnet_Profile table with a custom profile provider?
