Popup cause parent window reload => prevent validation

Hi all,

After the user did some action in a popup window I want to reload the parent window and i am doing this with

"window.opener.document.forms[0].submit"

Of course all the validators of the parent page are firing without knowing that the input action already too place in the popup window. So do i have to write a custom routine to disable the validators or is there a built in mechanism?

So I guess i have to insert some js functions which calls ValidatorEnable on the clientside. In addition to this i could set a flag within a control and check it on the serverside id i should apply validation.

Smthg like that.

window.opener.document.EnableDisableAllValidators

window.opener.SetFlagForServerValidations-
