I am using Azman roles to control directory access only. Everything seems to work fine but one thing seems a bit ridiculous.
When I make a change to the XML file (AuthStore), with the Authorization Manager MMC, then copy the xml file to the site (I have it locally on the web site), the changes do not take affect. I have to republish the site from VS and then the changes take afftect. This is not a matter of the XML file not being copied to the correct location. I checked this again and again.
Do changes to the XML authorization store require republishing the app?
