My team is having an issue trying to access text from cells in a gridview. We are preparing to export the data to excel. Before we do, we add a class to the cell called ".text" which makes each field a text field so excel doesnt drop leading zero's. Below
I am showing the code we use to parse through each cell in the gridview, remove anything we dont want to go to excel, grab the text from the others add it back as a litercontrol. Everything seems to work ok except when try to access the basic boundfield
type to gets text and add the class to it. Our FOR loop below checks the field type and does its thing from there. What can I add to the ElseIF checks to pull your basic boundfield cell? What type would that fall under? We tried databound but it wont let
you do that.
