Hi folks,
I'm wanting to use one of the .NET validator controls to validate text box input. The text box needs to accept a decimal number which may or may not include thousand separators (needs to be culture sensitive), and can have up to six decimal places. In addition, the number must not have more than twelve digits before the decimal point.
How would you tackle this? I've looked at the RangeValidator control, using both the "Currency" and "Double" modes, but each mode seems to support one requirement but not the other; I can't get it to support both requirements at the same time.
I suppose the only other option is regular expressions, but I'm no good at them. :-(
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Dan.
