It is not really a matter of validation, but when a user searches for something and there are no results from the search I have a Label saying "No Results."
The problem is "No Results" will not dissapear when I search for something valid after searching for something invalid unless I click btnSearch twice!

the lblSearch visibility is = false on the Properties menu
If DataList1.Items.Count <= 0 Then
lblSearch.Visible = True

lblSearch.Visible = False
End If
