How to get Value in the Panel

I have a page with a FormView1, and on the same form I have a Panel with another DetailsView1 use for my HoverMenuExtender, basically when user hover a mouse over a Data field in my Main Form it will pop up a record details which is the Panel, and this is where I want to capture a value

I need to reference a Data field  called "Price" located in the Panel DetailsView1 for my business logic calculation how do I go about doing this? or is there any other better way?

Can I use the code below? 
Dim Price As Label = DetailsView1.FindControl("Price")
