I have a button event that redirects me to another page, for editing an 'order' table.
On page load event (the edit page) I bind the corresponding data into a gridview like this: I define a string variable where I create my query then :
SqlDataSource1.SelectCommand = QueryString
GridView1.DataSourceID = "SqlDataSource1"
GridView1.DataBind()
Everything works fine until now.
I added to the gridview an edit column (my gridview has only template fields.)
In ItemTemplate I have only labels and they load ok, but in the EditItemTemplate I have boxes and dropdownlists
In my first column I have a dropdownlist. This dropdown has another SqlDataSource. Based on this dropdownlist selection I need the dropdownlist from column 2 to have a list of defined items based on selection in the first dropdownlist.
So I have created another event when the dropdownlist1 will change the selected item
