What's the difference between using a webservice vs a httphandler to return data in an Ajax call? Is there any speed advantage to using one over the other? Here's what I know so far on webservices:
Webservice is better for functionality that can be external and consumed by outside callerWebservice provides "discovery" definition/description to outside caller (method signature and such)Webservice can return complex object to callerWebservice asmx file can contain multiple methods
