Need help in table in asp.net

I have  this html code in the asp.net

<table>
<tr>
<td class="class1" name: </td>
<td class = class2" name_value</td>
</tr>
</table>
and in the style sheet:::
.class class1{
text-align: right;}
.class class2{
text-align: left;}


Oputput::
name:   name_value


but i am getting space between 2 <td>,I need to decrease the space.
can anyone help me,i need to change anything in the stylesheet?
