I'm quite new to web development so please bear with me...
1) I have a ProductItem.aspx page which dynamically retrieves information from the database ie. ProductItem.aspx?id=5, is it true in thinking that if I creaed a ProductIndex.aspx page which lists links for every product on my database, so <a href="ProductItems.aspx=5" title="Sony Playstation 3" target="_blank">Sony Playstation 3</a>, a search engine will look at the ProductIndex.apsx page find that ProductItem.aspx?id=5 exists and any other which I've listed on the page (id=3, id=4), then do a sweep on the dynamically created page where the id=5 and so forth?
2) I've also heard that I could create a sitemap which would replicate the "ProductIndex.aspx" page I've mentioned to further assist the search engines, can anyone point me any information on how I create this or give me a small example? My XML experience is very limited ( ...
